Christmas with Cuore 2024
Thank you to all of our wonderful audience who joined us for our uplifting evening of choral music from around the world and across the ages in the beautiful acoustic of St Mary’s Church, Haddington Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.
A beautiful venue, stunning new music, and festive favourites performed by an award-winning choir. The perfect way to start your Christmas!
Songs of Remembrance and Hope
We loved being back on the main stage in the National Concert Hall as part of this sold out charity concert organised by our alto, Davina Baker, in memory of her mother Monica.
A diverse and vibrant programme, from pop favorites by Coldplay to classical masterpieces by Bach, Kreisler, and Ysaye. Cuore’s contribution included uplifting music by Will Todd, William Byrd, and Javier Busto.
We were honoured to contribute to such a meaningful evening which raised over €18,000 for Our Lady’s Hospice in Blackrock. It was a reminder of the power of music to bring us together for good.
Stanford 100: Summer Concert 2024
We were delighted to see so many friendly faces at our special Stanford 100 concert in St. Stephen’s Pepper Canister Church. Our audience experienced the sounds of Joyce’s Dublin as we performed a selection of Charles Villiers Stanford’s choral and organ works, marking the centenary of his death.
For this performance, Cuore were joined by special guest Siobhán Kilkelly on organ.
Mirabilia: Spring Concert 2024
Cuore stepped into spring with a vibrant and uplifting evening of choral music, for our first concert in the beautiful acoustic of St Mary’s Haddington Road.
Our audience heard us preview our repertoire for the prestigious Ave Verum International Choral Competition in Austria, featuring the Irish premieres of Non nobis, Domine by Erika Budai and In Taberna by Michał Ziółkowski.
